Welcome to the Wilbraham & Monson Academy Web site.
I hope one of the first things you noticed when visiting the site is
our tag line: The Global School®. A tag line is designed to help
tell a reader the most important attribute of a company or product. The
best-known examples are: Imagination at Work (GE); Just Do It (Nike); or We Try
Harder (Avis). In our case we want the world to know that our school emphasizes
the value of becoming a global leader and citizen. We want everyone to know
that we value a diverse community of students and teachers from every part of
the world and every corner of the United States.
Over the more than 200 years the Academy has
flourished, thousands upon thousands of students from around the world and
across the country have been a part of our community. This year, students from
twenty-one countries and thirteen states have accepted our invitation to join
us. Our academic and residential life programs are designed to bring out the
best in students whether they come from Springfield or Seoul, Wilbraham or
Washington, Monson or Minneapolis.
